Stafford - Spotsy Arts Festival

Originally from Southern Maryland, Colonial Beach VA is now my home. I have always been a crafter who took every opportunity to create. After moving to the beach, I began to explore my artistic side. I am inspired by the beauty around me on the Potomac River and throughout the Northern Neck of Virginia.

 

I utilize a multitude of materials, from crushed mirrors, sea glass, driftwood, and scraps of stained glass. To found treasures like napkin rings and broken jewelry ,that I  seal in resin. I love to turn cast offs, scraps and bits into something new and showcase their beauty.  Giving a new purpose to objects that would otherwise be discarded. I recently started painting on glass, then embellishing with glass beads. I find it very relaxing.

 

My art is a journey and I look forward to watching it flow outward into the world.
